Great entertainers and amazing atmosphere on open Tampa Bay. I think I've seen dolphins pretty much every single time that I have come to Vinoy Park. There is a great park for kids close by and a very underrated park with tons of different kinds of palm trees and Florida native plants. I highly recommend checking it out. There's also a weird little tiny sand beach that you can play volleyball at and catch some rays just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of downtown... Definitely 5 stars.
Also this Park is always clean and sometimes has great events like concerts and festivals in it.

Beautiful and clean waterfront park. I love coming here and just walking along the path. Great views on the water (come for the sunsets!). Lots of events are hosted here and it's a great spot to come relax at if you're downtown for anything else and need time to kill. Lots of people walking their dogs, running and biking. The area is well lit at night and feels safe. If I lived within walking distance here, I'd probably be here every night as well!
Fantastic place for outdoor venues. Boasting over 300 a year. Should you visit plan your visit and make the most of your time. You won't regret it.
One of my favorite places to go when I lived here and when I visit. If you sit on the sea wall, you WILL see Dolphins. Sometimes they swim right below your feet.
